The NZI Top Truckie Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by NZI, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited (“NZI”), NZI Centre, 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. The following terms and conditions apply to the Promotion.
By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion commences 12.00am Monday 8th July 2024 and ends at 11.59pm Wednesday 7th August 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
The Promotion is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years of age or over as at Monday 8th July 2024 (“Eligible Participants”).
To enter the Promotion, Eligible Participants must, during the Promotional Period:
a) Tell NZI in the comments section beneath ‘Top Truckie’ posts on Facebook the name and business of a truck driver (“Nominee”) that deserves a shout out, along with why you are nominating them.
All participants who nominate a truck driver agree they have the Nominee’s consent to share their name and workplace.
Prize and Prize Draw
NZI is offering each Nominee the chance to win a combination of one of Five (5) Visa Prezzy cards to the value of $200 each for themselves plus one of five (5) Woolworths or Pak n Save Gift Cards to the value of $250 each for their business’ staff morning tea (“Prize”). Each Prize will be couriered to the winners’ business address.
The Five (5) prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on Friday 9th August 2024 (or such later date as is required by NZI) (“Prize Draw”).
The prize winners will be contacted by NZI, via the business stated by the nominator, on Wednesday 14th August 2024 (or such later date as required by NZI). If a winner has not responded to NZI within five (5) business days of being contacted or has communicated to NZI that they do not want the Prize, then NZI can at its discretion: (a) deem the prize winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and (b) re-draw another eligible prize winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The Prize will be sent to the winners within 10 business days.
Prizes are not transferable and not refundable. The Prize must be taken as stated in these terms and conditions and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the Prize as stated or if the Prize is lost or stolen.
NZI will not be held accountable for any costs, losses, damages and/or expenses which the winner may incur in relation to the Prize.
NZI will not be required to provide any person/business with a Prize where, in NZI’s sole discretion:
a) that person/business is not (or is no longer) eligible where the criteria in clause 4 and 5; or
b) NZI is unable to contact the person/business to arrange the delivery of the Prize after using reasonable endeavours.
General
NZI, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend the Promotion at any time without notice to any person for any reason. NZI will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.
NZI’s decision on any matter regarding the Promotion will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
You; (a) fully release and hold Meta harmless from liability, and (b) acknowledge that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.
Subject to any obligations under law, such as the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, NZI and its related bodies corporate will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion.
NZI takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of the Promotion.
Privacy
Each participant accepts and agrees that NZI may use and disclose the participant’s personal information to NZI’s agents or contractors for the purposes of conducting the Promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting NZI in writing at 1 Fanshawe Street, Auckland or by calling 0800 100 200.
